Talented teen dancers perform complex coordinated dance routine that leaves our heads spinning
Throughout history, even going right back to the dawn of civilization, people have loved to dance. Whether it’s part of a festive celebration or just moving and grooving with your friends, we all feel a need to bop our heads and shake our bodies to the beat whenever a funky rhythm starts to play.
Over the years, people have developed all kinds of different dances, from elegant ballroom routines to lively salsa dances and even complex, color-coordinated dance choreographies like this one!
A group of teens are about to leave your mind boggled and your head spinning with this perfectly synchronized performance.
The routine starts off with rows of colored hoops placed on the ground. There’s a yellow row, a green row, a red one, and a blue one. The dancers are all lined up, with sticks in their hands.
Immediately, we know we’re about to see something pretty special, as the beat starts to play and the dancers start tapping their sticks together in time with the music.
They’re all highly concentrated, getting ready to play their part in the complicated choreography that is about to follow.
Then, the dance begins, with one dancer from each side jumping forward into the rings and then moving from side to side, their feet switching between different sets of rings in time.
They’re both at opposite sides of the rings, but they move like mirror images of one another.
Soon, another pair of dancers have joined in, and the others waiting in line step forward, awaiting their turn.
Gradually, we see that the dancers who jumped in from the front are slowly making their way to the back, and vice versa, eventually jumping out at the opposite side from which they entered.
Then, another set of dancers dive in to take their place. It seems highly complex at first glance, but the more you watch it, the more you start to notice a pattern emerging.
Every dancer follows the exact same steps, and the whole thing has been calculated to perfection to ensure that there are always four dancers in the rings and none of them ever actually make contact with one another.
It’s almost like an amazing example of dance and math coming together in perfect harmony, with the numbers, movements, and timings all precisely planned out to ensure that everything flows smoothly.
As the dance continues, more and more dancers from each side join in, following the same steps as the others and completing the circuit, exiting on the other side. There’s one little slip up near the end as one of the dancers accidentally kicks a couple of the hoops away, but the rest of the routine is absolutely perfect.
It sure must have taken a lot of practice and hard work to pull this off, but the results are super impressive.
The rest of the world clearly agrees, as the clip has been viewed over 1.3 million times already, with thousands of likes, shares, and comments too. Check it out for yourself down below!
