Adorable “talking” Goldendoodle melts hearts professing undying love for baby

We often think that dogs communicate with their tails and ears. Perked up and wagging means they’re excited.

If their tails are tucked between their legs it means they’re scared.

But what if some can “talk”?

That’s what a mother in Cleveland posted when she coaxed her dog to talk to her kid.

What did the dog say?

Well, it’s something that will definitely warm your hearts. The video was posted by Staci DaVita.

It shows two of the things she loves the most. On the couch, her Goldendoodle, Ralph E. Doodle, splayed down like a sphinx while her baby laid on the dog’s curly mocha fur.

Laying down beside him, or on his side to be more specific, is Noah. The little baby was so amused at how Ralph seemed to talk to his mother.

“Do you love us?”

DaVita can be heard asking the question for a quick second to which Ralph responded with a soft howl.

It was a bit short but it seemed to imitate how DaVita was saying “I love you”.

DaVita, quite taken by the sweetness of her dog, kept on repeating those three words. And whenever she does, her adorable dog keeps on howling back.

The words may not be as clear as we wanted them to be, but we can certainly feel the intention.

Love is in the air

Pretty lucky for little Noah to be growing up with a sweet pooch like Ralph. You can even see him smiling throughout the video. We mean, who wouldn’t?

Ralph has howled for his brother before

In another video, Ralph can be seen “singing the songs of his people” to little Noah. And Noah? Well, let’s just say his face is showing this isn’t the first time Ralph did something like this.

He sure doesn’t mind it at all, however. Seems like he understands whatever Ralph was singing. And if he’s not complaining, why would we?

DaVita’s dog choice was well-thought-out.

“When we were looking for a dog we had just gotten married, and we knew that we wanted a dog that was good with children,” DaVita told News 5 Cleveland on a separate interview.

The video only proved that they made a good choice, especially when people saw how gentle and loving Ralph was to his siblings.

It’s ingrained in Ralph’s DNA.

Ralph is a mix between a Golden Retriever and a poodle. As such, he can inherit the best traits of his parents.

Dogs of their breed are known for their gentle temperament and kind demeanor. This makes them perfect family companions, especially in households with kids.

Being a hybrid breed, most kennels don’t recognize them. However, this didn’t stop the breed from being so popular.

Practicality is one of the reasons why they’re sought after because goldendoodles shed very little.

But more than that, they are known for their quirky personalities and human-like expression. If you’re not convinced, just look at Ralph and his little brother Noah.
