Remember the time someone told you that you could do it when you were second-guessing yourself? It gave you the boost of confidence you needed, right? How about the time you looked in a mirror and told yourself that you could ace your exams or win the game?

However, there are some people who believe they are not worthy due to the people surrounding them or the situation they are currently in. It does not help that some parts of society make it hard for people to build their self-worth and confidence. That’s why parents do their best to encourage their children.

Parents often go the extra mile to build their children’s self-worth.

Amanda Cox, a teacher at Fehl-Price Elementary in Beaumont, Texas shared a beautiful example of an act of nurturing.

One day, Amanda noticed there were not enough pencils for the whole class. She kindly asked her students if they have any extra ones and to share them with their classmates.

Everyone followed her instructions, except for one boy.

The student asked if he could keep the pencils given to him by his mom.

Of course, Amanda said yes and decided to hand out the pencils she gathered from other students and distribute them. However, the boy came back and said he could share his pencils with his classmates. When the boy gave the pencils to Amanda for her to distribute, she noticed an interesting addition to them.

Written on the pencils were sweet words of encouragement by the boy’s mother.

It was heartwarming and sweet of her, but it was so much better because the little boy wanted to share those words with his classmates. He wanted to spread the love and confidence his mother had given him.

Amanda shared the photo on Facebook to encourage parents to remind their children how unique and loved they are.

The Facebook post is currently not available, but it was well-received by many people on Twitter.

They also understand the importance of these simple words to children. Despite society dictating everyone to act a certain way, Amanda wants to encourage parents to make their kids feel loved.
