Especially if you live in Montreal, Canada, where the temperature can get so low, you will crave some nice warm weather.

Most people enjoy taking a stroll for fresh air, while others prefer to sit in one place and enjoy the view.

It would be better if there’s something to entertain you during your stay, like some good music, perhaps?

Park-goers were delighted by an impromptu performance when a woman suddenly sat on the piano bench and tickled the ivory keys to a familiar song.

Bet they didn’t expect to witness this incredible performance when they woke up that day!

Jazz pianist and composer Ariane Racicot graced the crowd with Queen’s hit song “Bohemian Rhapsody.”

This classic Queen song would be a hit with any crowd because of its unique mix of hard rock, ballad, and even opera, and its tone, tempo, and musical style change drastically throughout the song.

While most piano players would say it’s a relatively easy song to play on the piano chord-wise, these changes make it challenging to play.

The song also has many sections, making it look so entertaining when a pianist runs their fingers all over the keys.

Despite the song’s difficulty, it didn’t seem to faze Ariane as she sat and started playing.

At first, the notes seemed faint – like she was still trying to figure out how to play this piano she had only played for the first time.

She still aced that familiar intro to capture a few ears to listen, and it seemed like she got their attention.

She reached the operatic part, and the tempo picked up.

This is one of the most challenging stretches in playing this song, but Ariane played it effortlessly.

You can even see her sway a little, which tells how much she enjoyed playing the song even in front of a big crowd.

Ariane really is a superb piano player as she transitioned from one part to another without difficulty.

As the tempo and rhythm changed between verses, so did she move through the keys from end to end with ease.

As she finished the song, you could see that she drew quite a crowd, and they gave her a well-deserved round of applause.

But did you notice something about the piano? It was out of tune! Not even that could stop Ariane from playing this Queen classic!

People on YouTube noticed that bit that the piano wasn’t in tune, but this never distracted nor ruined Ariane’s performance.

It even made them appreciate her piano playing more because who could continue playing an almost six-minute track when you sometimes hear the wrong notes?

That’s one of the things that made this a total showstopper.

Thanks to the organization that placed the piano there, the crowd seemed to love the musical break.

Cultural organizations and merchant associations launched Piano des villes, pianos des champs (Piano of the cities, piano of the fields), and installed public pianos in The Plateau/Mile End neighborhoods of Montreal.

These public pianos sure did serve their purpose, and Ariane was just one of the many who showed that this should be a thing.
