Wade, Tyler and Brayden were biking down the road in Louisiana when they spotted a motionless dog. Then they saw his eyes move to plead with them.

The three 13-year-old boys who had come across the injured dog knew that they couldn’t just abandon the animal.

So they walked up to the dog and pet him. He was in a bad way. The kids realized that he had probably been hit by a car.

Wade called Haseya’s New Beginning Animal Rescue and told them what he had discovered. Soon, a rescuer was on the way.

The kids decided to stay by the dog’s side until the rescuer showed up. They also made a barricade out of their bikes so that any passing car would not be in danger of hitting the dog.

The rescuer arrived and took the dog to the shelter.

At the shelter, the rescuers gave the dog some food. After the meal, he was much more energetic. But he had a limp. The rescuers thought that it might be a hip injury.

Then the rescuers checked the dog for a chip. Pretty soon, they had located one.

The rescuers contacted the dog’s owner. It turns that the dog, Taz, had gone missing a week ago. The owner had been desperately searching for Taz without success. He was amazed to hear that three teenagers were responsible for Taz’s rescue.

Soon the owner picked up Taz and took him to the vet, where he was successfully treated for his leg injury. The dog is now recovering.

The three teens that rescued the dog were so happy to learn that he was back in the arms of his owner. Thanks to them, Taz is on the road to recovery and happier than ever.

Many people have since praised Wade, Tyler and Brayden for what they did.

Some would have just ignored the dog. But these three kids went above and beyond to help Taz.

But the thing is that there are many stories like this one, where teenagers help a struggling dog.

For instance, in 2019, a story of two teenagers sneaking into an abandoned water park went viral after they encountered some stray dogs who led them to their friend who was drowning.

The teenagers proceeded to pull the dog out of the water without a second thought. Afterward, the dogs all ran off happily.

And in 2018, some teenagers found a dog whose fur was incredibly tangled and matted. In fact, the creature could barely move.

Just like Wade, Tyler and Brayden, these teenagers called on a rescue group and protected the dog until the rescuer arrived. In this instance, the teens even wrapped the dog in their shirts for warmth and played him calming music.

So the next time you think about grumbling over how lazy, irresponsible and clueless teenagers are, just think about these stories and all of the other teenage dog rescue stories that don’t go viral online.

Yes, teenagers today may have some pretty crazy ideas, like creating a system that avoids the possibility of going into crippling debt for essential healthcare, but they also go above and beyond to help others.
