Teeny kitten melts over 10M hearts nibbling on ‘stern’ guy’s ear
This adorable video has over 10 million views; we’ll tell you why.
It’s a video clip of an orange British Short Hair kitten that did the sweetest thing to his fur dad.
Bask yourself with this entire two minutes of wholesomeness.
Pinky was only a month old in this video.
At this young age, a kitten learns to groom themselves and others.
At around four to five weeks, they also learn social behaviors and the appropriate way to handle the situation.
This is when they know when to do friendly wrestling and play bites.
No wonder Pinky loved nibbling her daddy’s ear in this video.
Some people who don’t understand might think it hurts, but a cat’s nibble, especially as young as Pinky, can also be ticklish.
Yes, you can feel a bit of sharpness, but mostly it’s a pleasant and friendly one.
You can see how Pinky’s hooman didn’t mind the nibbling at all.
The little kitten loved this special moment with her Daddy, just cuddling by his side.
You can see she’s trying to grab his ears, and those tiny claws didn’t bother him. He let his kitten be as it explored what she could do.
All two minutes of this video are filled with the heartwarming cuteness of this little one.
Pinky would nibble, then groom herself, then back to nibbling again.
You can also see how she loved rubbing herself in her fur daddy’s facial hair and head.
It gives you the impression that brushing on her dad’s stubble might feel like someone else was grooming her.
This video speaks volumes about how Pinky loves being with her humans.
Nibbling (or, as we say in animal talk, ‘nib-nibs’) is one of the many body languages that tell us a kitten or cat loves us.
It’s one of the cutest, albeit weird, ways they show affection. These nibbles are often called “love bites,” and they do this when you pet them, indicating that they don’t want to stop petting.
Nibbling is not the only weird way that a cat shows affection.
It may be rude to think, but when your cat walks and show you their rear part, it’s their way of telling you that you are their favorite human and they’re comfortable with you.
Peeing may not be good, but when they do, they want to mark their territory.
Bringing you a dead animal (yikes!) also shows how much your cat cares for you, thus, taking care of ‘food’ for you both.
It’s gross, but it’s a sweet gesture, nonetheless. Lastly, doing a head bump is their way to tell you, ‘I love you.’
Of course, they have sweet, adorable means of affection, too.
Kneading on you or your clothes and blankets, curling their tail, purring, licking or grooming you, rubbing on you, and slow blinking are their means of telling you how much you mean to them.
You see, it’s a common misconception among felines that they are less affectionate compared to dogs.
They just really express it differently. And if we were to judge Pinky’s actions towards her fur-dad, we could tell how much she loves him.
