In times like these, local restaurants and businesses need to do all they can to get customers. If that means getting a bit creative, more power to them! One restaurant in Texas decided they were going to use comedy to draw crowds to their door. Their method of delivery? A signboard.

1. “I’m a car guy”
We all know a “car guy”. All they want to talk about is the newest models of their favorite cars that they see on YouTube and social media. Well, with this sign’s logic, I might be a car guy myself!
2. Tequilalosiphy
There is a philosophy behind tequila that few of us may have realized! It’s about value and worth. Are you going to be a lime or the shot in life? This sign makes it clear you are worth being the tequila!
3. Oops! Wrong party
It seems like gender reveal parties are just getting crazier and crazier. At the end of the day, nobody cares about your baby as much as you do! This writer’s take on what a gender reveal is sounds like a good time!
4. What about the commercials?
Superbowls are famously huge and the epitome of American culture. What’s funny is that most people don’t even watch the game for the game! Commercials and the half-time show seem to be huge magnets for some. They have been a bit lacking recently.
5. Pop music? Never heard of it.
This joke is funny because you have to first know what they are talking about then realize that there are lots of people who DON’T know what they are talking about. If you are confused, just type “beanie eyelash” into google and let it autocorrect.
6. Cat or dog person?
If you ever wanted to know the difference between a cat and a dog person, this sign is the perfect example. A dog will love you regardless, a cat will be guilty with you. Which one are you?

If everyone is unique, is anyone? Well, that seems a bit too deep for casual internet reading. I don’t really care about others’ uniqueness, as long as mine is MORE unique.

Seeing someone at the grocery store isn’t fun. It makes them human. Your high school gym coach CAN’T be in the wine section, she lives at school, right? WRONG. Everyone needs wine.

This line works, yet does not work. Yes, on October 10th, this pickup line works. But also, on October 10th, it’s not going to work.
10. Non-mainstream mainstream is so mainstream now
Hipsters lost the fight when they got popular. If it’s cool, it’s not cool anymore. It’s like your parents on TikTok.
11. Oof, that hurts
Alrighty ladies, nobody likes getting hustled. If this happens, it’s time to pawn that jewelry and take a girl’s trip… and never come back.
12. They really do matter
If you ever wondered about the importance of spelling and grammar, this is your moment. It’s all gonna make sense now. Just read the sign. Now, who wants shots?
13. Point: El Arroyo
Look, I’m not trying to have the MLM mob after my head, but they do have a point. Just let them have their fun, right? You can always use a winter-pine oil diffuser to help them get into the spirit of the season, too!
14. Why not both?
This seems like a perfect moment for that little girl from the Old el Paso commercial. How about a good Irish coffee? Or maybe even a white Russian? All those come together to both wake you up AND make you more emotional.

When are we going to be honest? Amazon has tricked us. Listening to Audible isn’t reading, just like listening to music isn’t enjoying poetry. But, if it helps us get through books, does it matter?

We’ve done it, don’t lie. The perfect comeback usually involves further argument. Is it worth it? Well, it depends on if it’s said to your wife or not. In that case, no, don’t say it.

Wouldn’t it be incredible if the founder of El Arroyo was the one who said this and decided to start their own restaurant? It would be hilariously ironic. We may never know :(
