Three dancers break it down in a Houston parking lot and 2 million people can’t get enough

“What did I just watch?”

It’s a common refrain upon seeing your first Tio Choko video.

And then somehow you emerge from your Internet rabbit hole hours later after watching a bunch more.

You’re never going to get those hours of your life back, but you don’t really want them. Is there a better way to spend your pandemic prison time than watching the Houston, Texas-based Afro-Latino cowboy strut his stuff?

Ok, that’s debatable.

But with 120k subscribers on YouTube and over 140k Instagram followers it’s safe to say you should at least know his name.

But if you try explaining what Tio Choko does – well, good luck. He’s a cowboy. And entertainer. A dancer. A comedian. He’s totally born of the Internet generation in which you can just make weird, funny videos all day and somehow pay your rent.

Of course, Tio Choko is available for your events as well, so don’t rule out an in-person show.

Perhaps he can even attend your Quinceanera (if, you know, you’re a young Latina about to turn 15). If he shows up, you can expect some moves like these, which he showed off in a video from the summer of 2018 that now has over 2 million views.

“When You Link Up With Your Favorite Cousins At The Quinceanera,” is the video in question in which Tio Choko and some friends get their groove on in a random Houston parking lot to “No Bailes De Cabballito,” by Mi Banda el Mexicano.

He’s joined by two special guests who go by the name HeavyweightMusik. You may recognize the rapping, dancing brothers from Season 14 of America’s Got Talent.

Their names are Tripl3 P and Lil A and they have their own Instagram following of over 30k fans.

And when the three men linked up at this “Quinceanera,” they showed off some mighty fine moves!

“I had no idea I needed this in my life till now,” was a common refrain among commenters.

It’s true – we laughed, we feel the rhythm, we nearly got up and danced. Their energy is infectious and so is the music!

“It’s so weird how I can’t dance for the life of me but when I’m at a Mexican party with my dad or something I suddenly dance well,” said a viewer who was equally taken by the song.

They even inspired some people to (want to) make their own videos:

“One of my favorite songs to dance too such a classic & props to the big men who can bust moves like nobody’s business we need more people & videos like this during this times & if I had the right equipment & people if also make great dancing videos like this I love happiness!!”

But be careful, just because big men can dance doesn’t mean it’s easy – these guys practice! So don’t hurt yourself trying to go full HeavyweightMusik right off the bat.

Tio Choko and his fly mustache are holding it down too.
