Dog shows off her 'impressive' dance moves while grooving with grandma

Itâs not super hard to train your dog how to sit, stay, roll over, and fetch. Theyâre still very cute skills to learn, but itâd be nice to spice things up with more variety, right?
But you know what would really be impressive for a dog to do? Dancing.
Doggy dancing is a real thing, in case you didnât know. Check out how this grandma got their dog to pull it off.

You wonât see the dogs popping, locking, or shuffling in dog dance shows..
Though some pooches out there have been trained to do a good pirouette and even a bit of line dancing.
Of course, training them to do those things ainât easy.

Itâs made difficult by the fact that youâve got to participate in the dance too. Otherwise, theyâll have no lead and wonât know what to do.
Dance competitions can bring out a lot of pressure.
But who says dance is only meant for competition? We all like dancing in the comfort of our own homes too.
And as long as this dog is having a fun time, who cares about entering a competition?

This nice old woman is Daya Garciaâs grandmother.
On TikTok, Daya Garcia captioned the post with âMy grandma took a video of her dancing with the dog.â
The caption is as straight to the point as you can ask for. TikTok may be a place full of misguided life advice, questionable âhacksâ, and people showing off cute looks. But most of us really just want to hop on and look at cute animals doing silly stuff.
And this delivered pretty well.

The setting here is no grand hall. Itâs not even a studio. Itâs nothing more than the familyâs simple kitchen.
Iâve gotta say, the fridge and countertops really add to the scene.
And grandmaâs got some spring in her step. No wonder this little dog has an easy time following.

No fancy outfits with sequins or top hats here.
But why did grandma randomly decide to dance here? The reasonâs actually pretty funny.
At the start of the video, she says in Spanish âSahara come help me do exercise, youâre fat just like me.â

So this adorable dogâs name is Sahara! And people love her.
Theyâre particularly in love with the little spin she does near the end.

Indeed, Sahara makes a great dance and exercise partner. Losing weight shouldnât be too frustrating when youâve got her for moral support!
But this was way back in 2022. Daya Garcia commented a heartbreaking update: That little Sahara passed away on April 9 of this year.

Grandma probably misses little Sahara dearly, and so do we â even though weâve only seen her once in this video.
A dogâs life is precious. Make every day count with them, because they donât have nearly as much time here as we do.
At least this video of Sahara is here to immortalize the sweet pooch for everyone to see.
