Many dogs pick a favorite human. And it’s easy to see that Bristol loves her human dad more than anyone else. The little dog wants him all to herself.

Bristol the chihuahua was adopted by Nathan and Alicia McNeese when she was just a tiny puppy.

As the puppy grew, it became clear that she was a daddy’s girl. She soon formed a close bond with Nathan. Yes, she loves everyone in the family. But her affection for Nathan is something else.

And now that Bristol is all grown up, she thinks that she deserves Nathan all to herself.

She hates it when Alicia shows affection to her husband. And without fail, she always does what she can to show Alicia that her attempts to get between her and Nathan are not appreciated.

One video that Alicia Posted to Tik Tok shows this perfectly.

It begins with Nathan driving the family car. Alicia rests her head on her husband’s shoulder. It isn’t obvious at first, but Bristol is in the back seat at swiping at Alicia, trying to get her off of him.

Alicia lifts her head from Nathan’s shoulder, revealing Bristol, who has a jealous expression on her face.

She glares at Alicia briefly to make it clear that the mother was in the wrong. Then she rests her own head on Nathan’s shoulder in the same way that Alicia did.

Her tail wags as Nathan moves his head down to Bristol and brushes his cheek against her scalp.

Then Alicia tries to join in and places her head on Nathan’s shoulder below Bristol. Bristol tries to push Alicia away.

Alicia manages to push Bristol’s head off of Nathan’s shoulder.

Bristol yelps in annoyance. The first moment she can, the dog rests her head on Nathan’s shoulder again.

This video may make it seem like Bristol and Alicia don’t get along, but they do.

In fact, the dog does love Alicia in her own way. It’s just that for Bristol, no one can compare to Nathan.

When Nathan isn’t around, Bristol is more than happy to cuddle up with her mother.

Clearly, Bristol is a very lucky dog. She has two incredible human owners. And Alicia is mature enough to let Bristol act all possessive and jealous most of the time. Of course, it helps that Alicia and Nathan also have some human children and another dog child to shower them with affection!

Nathan and Alicia got Bristol in 2015.

They already had Ellie, another little dog. Instead of being a purebred chihuahua like Bristol, Ellie is a Chiweenie, a mix between a chihuahua and a dachshund.

Of course, stories like Bristol’s play out all over the world.

Dogs often pick one particular human as their favorite. It’s just that Bristol is extreme with her affection! She is five years old now, so it’s not like Bristol will grow out of her Nathan obsession. She will always love him the most.
