Tiny kitten takes over dog’s bed and his adorable “struggle” with her gets over 31M views
If there’s one space in the house that we most likely won’t share – it’s our bed.
This one area in our house is the sanctuary of our weary bodies.
It’s “the” space.
It’s where we recharge, think, and hang out.

So, what would you do when you go into your room and see someone else, occupying your bed?
That’s a conundrum this fluffy golden retriever had to deal with.
Bailey, an “adorkable” golden retriever, starts the argument with a woof.
On his blue fluffy bed sits an equally adorable kitten. Bailey looked at the kitten and thought to himself, “If this is my bed, why is someone else sleeping on it?”
The kitten isn’t inclined to move.
He didn’t know what to do with the situation except that he needed to get the trespasser off his property, pronto!
Bailey whined and whimpered.
He would bark at the kitten and then bend down to nudge the edges of the bed.
It’s like he didn’t want to literally push the kitten off the bed. He just wants to show the people around him that it would come to that if it needs to.
The kitten was relentless, though.
Bailey kept on pushing the edges of the bedding like he was making a kitten wrap sandwich with it.
At one point, Bailey was so full of it, he almost brought his bed with him.
He bit on the edge and pulled the bed, almost letting the kitten roll over the edge. Bailey can share a lot of things, but his personal spot is none of those.
When his antics and strategies were not working, he implored his inner Roman and started a conquest of the bed.
It was time to roll.
He laid half of his body down on the bed while slowly encroaching on where the kitten was.
If he can’t have it in one go, maybe he could make the place crowded enough to force the little visitor out of Baileyland.
Bailey grew more impatient by the minute.
If he’s too polite or just scared of confrontation, we don’t know. This time, however, he fully nudged the kitten to leave his bed.
He would whine, huff, and stir, like a little child throwing a fit. Bailey may be a big dog, but inside, he’s still a little baby.
In the end, the dog learned.
He laid down on the bed with the little kitten still on it. He learned that it’s okay to share. But through all of it, the kitten learned something else too.
What’s better than a bed? It turns out, it’s making a dog into a bed.
The little kitten laid triumphantly over the dog’s side and at that moment, the animals learned how to compromise.
People all over the internet lost their marbles at how cute the encounter was.
“Too funny, he asks politely and then starts the tantrum but still refrained from tossing the little guy out,” said one, perfectly describing the situation.

“I love how no matter how frustrated he gets he actively avoids doing anything that would hurt the kitten because he knows it’s just a baby,” said another.
