On paper, this video sounds horrifying. Luckily, the “vicious” dog it stars couldn’t hurt a fly.

Ben Froehle and his baby son, David, were sitting out in their yard one day when something shocking happened.

They had just adopted a yorkie puppy. The dog had been friendly, up until that point.

But all of a sudden, the puppy started sprinting towards David, as fast as his little legs would take him.

Once the puppy had reached the baby’s vicinity, he had to hop onto the blanket. He was just that tiny

Baby David was ignoring the puppy. The puppy hated this. He wanted to be feared!

The puppy tried to swipe at David, hoping that this would scare the boy.

But the baby just turned to the puppy and started petting him. This was not the reaction that the puppy was hoping for.

Soon, the puppy realized that the current attack wasn’t working. So he sat down in front of the baby, in an uneasy truce.

Then David reignited the fight by holding his hand out to the puppy. The puppy leaped up at David’s hand and tried to bite it.

The only issues were that the puppy had no teeth and very weak jaw strength.

David started laughing at the puppy. This really irritated the tiny dog, so he tried to bite at the baby’s face. Sadly, this took a lot of effort and only seemed to annoy the baby a tiny bit.

After some more nips, David slowly fell back and landed on his back. Luckily, the blanket provided plenty of insulation.

Still, the dog wasn’t done. He climbed over the baby’s body to keep up the attack. But the baby only started laughing.

The video cut out there. Luckily, it then appeared on YouTube, where it soon went viral. To date, this video has gained over 14.5 million views. It also has more than 41,000 likes.

Clearly, many, many people online have been cheered up by this video.

The puppy in this video is pretty typical for a Yorkshire Terrier. They’re known for being energetic and domineering. Luckily, they are also very affectionate animals. By the time the puppy’s teeth grew, he had been trained to not attack people!

Yorkshire Terriers tend to love attention, which is clearly what that puppy was after. The “fight” was not serious. Instead, his new owners had just not played with him recently.

Sadly, this video did not capture much of the audio of the “fight.” It’s likely that the dog was yapping a lot! That’s what Yorkies do.

Hopefully, Ben did not have too hard a time training the puppy to behave.

Yorkies can be notoriously stubborn. If the video is anything to go by, this Yorkie will literally and figuratively put up a fight to any commands.

In time, David and the puppy would become best friends. Today, their parents are amazed that they were ever so small.
