Adorable toddler has his own cooking show with grandma and it is beyond cute

We’re all in on Cade’s cooking show. In fact, he’s the one celebrity chef whose instructions make sense to us.

He also happens to be 2. As in, years old.

His Instagram bio reads:

“Little Chef Cade is a 2 yr old master of Toddler Cuisine. He enjoys cooking nearly as much as he does eating!”

We can relate to most of that!

In a new viral video, Cade decided to invite his grandma to guest-star on his Internet series. And the video has earned nearly 3 million views on Instagram along with an extra couple million on Facebook.

The duo decides to go traditional and make chocolate chip cookies.

That should be easy enough, right?

Let’s just say it’s a good thing grandma is running the show, even if she starts off by being a bit of a buzzkill.

“No eating the butter, ok?”

UGH.

Don’t worry, he fought her for it and won.

Next, it’s time for a cup of sugar, after giving the measuring cup a few good bangs.

Things seem to be going well.

What we love about Cade is that he seems to think every single ingredient that goes into a cookie is going to be just as good as the cookie itself.

That might be true for butter, but not so much for raw sugar and flour.

But, hey, when you give a toddler a cooking show, we imagine the vast majority of the effort will go into preventing disaster.

Cooking with Nana goes off the rails pretty quickly when Cade decides he really did like the butter. Nana just isn’t fast enough to keep it out of his hands!

We’d probably pass on the toddler cookies at this point.

But it’s full-speed ahead. Cade and Nana didn’t come here to fail, they came to make cookies!

And while there are cookies at the end, it’s a bit of a miracle considering Cade accidentally bites his grandma at one point just to get some brown sugar (that’s he’s already stuck his entire tongue in).

Honestly, you’d think Cade had never been fed in his whole life the way he goes after all things edible!

While things are looking up with Nana gets the mixer going and no one loses a finger, it all goes out the window when the eggs get involved.

As she patiently tries to teach the toddler to crack them, Nana gets another toddler bite. Now with more potential salmonella!

We’ll spare you the description of nose-picking the follows – let’s just say there’s a secret ingredient in these toddler cookies.

Now it’s flour time and we probably don’t need to tell you how that goes either.

We just imagine this is like any other cooking show where the final product is already made perfectly and sitting on the side for display purposes because we don’t know how many ingredients actually got into this cookie dough.

We’re now fully on the side of Team World’s Most Patient Nana.

We hope Cade had to at least apologize for the biting before he got a cookie!

A couple more ingredients manage to make it into the bowl until Cade finally gets a good lesson in keeping his tongue in his mouth.

Arm & Hammer baking soda does NOT taste like a cookie.

Live and learn, Cade!

It’s finally time to mix the dough, and while that’s a bit messy, Nana takes care of most of it while she gives away the spatula for the little one to lick.

Of course, that doesn’t stop him from going headfirst into the bowl when the chocolate chips were added.

Miraculously, the cookie dough gets formed into balls and goes into the oven!

And when they come out, it looks like Cade has had a full shower and change. (And we hope Nana had a full glass of wine!)

In the end, Cade wins our hearts with a finished product and a peace offering to Nana – a precious cookie.
