Most kids imagine what they want to be when they grow up. This one-year-old is actually doing it.

Most babies at that age are incredibly fussy about what they eat. It’s understandable, as they’re still getting used to the idea of eating solids.

But Kobe’s food fascination goes far beyond eating. He also loves cooking!

It all began when Kobe watched his mom and dad cook in the kitchen. He’d always been an incredibly curious baby. But he really loved seeing his parents cook. So one day, his parents decided that it would be fun to get Kobe involved with the cooking.

Kobe’s Dad went to The Home Depot and built a special chair for Kobe that would let him prep food safely.

Soon, Kobe and his mom, Ashley were cooking away. At first, Ashley thought that getting Kobe to help out with cooking would help him fine-tune his motor skills. When she noticed how much fun the baby was having, the mom recorded Kobe helping her prepare a salad. In no time at all, this had gained hundreds of thousands of views.

That was when Ashley realized that Kobe could make people all over the world happy. Soon, she bought the baby a little chef’s hat and started to get Kobe to make all sorts of meals.

The videos of these meals have become online sensations.

What’s so great about Kobe is that he clearly enjoys preparing meals.

But he also often succumbs to the urge to eat the ingredients he’s using, making for many cute moments. Also, these moments, when he caves into the desire to eat, are incredibly relatable. Let’s face it, we all have the same desire to nibble on the ingredients that we’re cooking with.

From casseroles to cookies, Kobe loves to cook everything. He always has a huge smile on his face when he and his mom bring a tasty dish together.

To date, Kobe’s most popular Instagram video has gained over 3.7 million views. In that video, Kobe makes a pizza. And he puts a lot of effort into it!

First, he flours the surface. Then he kneads the dough. With some help from his mom, he spreads tomato sauce over the dough. Then he adds cheese and other toppings. All through the video, he’s smiling and nodding his head enthusiastically.

Kobe’s culinary passion has made so many people happy online. Even the famously grumpy Scottish chef Gordon Ramsay has started following the baby on Instagram.

It’s amazing to think that Kobe loves trying out so many different kinds of food. His mom has said that he’s not afraid to try anything. And she began giving him a wide range of foods almost as soon as he could try solids. Ashley started giving Kobe a different kind of food every day from the age of six months. This has resulted in not just a baby that is totally unfussy but also a teeny tiny little chef.

Kobe and his parents have even managed to monetize Kobe’s cooking.

They’ve created a range of Kobe Eats branded clothing and stickers for people to buy. And this is just the very start of what looks like an incredibly successful career for Kobe. At this rate, he’ll probably have a cookbook before he starts kindergarten.
