With no further ado, this year’s top gardening trend will make you reminiscent of the deep blue sea. Maybe some of you are familiar or you have seen these popular “Jellyfish Succulents” online. People on Instagram are getting wild, posting their beautiful plant creations that really make their garden look like a colorful Aquarium!

Jellyfish succulents are a type of vine-like plant that tends to grow downwards. They are basically a cluster of succulent varieties that you will see usually hanging from a basket.

They are called Jellyfish because as you can see in the pictures, they really have these jellyfish-looking “tails”, and they look undoubtedly magical!

Some more experienced gardeners have even created their own mesmerizing compositions by putting multiple types of succulents together to create “jellyfish succulent planters”.

If you would like to make your own Jellyfish succulent don’t think it’s too difficult, on the contrary, it’s a quite quick process! Let’s see where you should start from, just follow our tips, and soon enough you might create your own out-worldly Aquarium in your home garden.

Firstly, you will need to choose the hanging basket you are going to use, there are many options for you to choose from but we would advise you to pick a moss basket. Then take enough soil, better choose one of good quality, and fill your basket nearly to the top.

Once you have filled it with soil, turn it over, and plant the succulents.

How should you choose the correct type of succulents? Well, you would need to make sure to have at least two different types. One for the main body of the plant, and one for the “tentacles”.
