Triplets face off in hilariously adorable race to their baby bottles

Resources are scarce, that’s basically a fact of human existence on this earth. Sometimes, competition decides who gets what. This time around, three adorable triplets are pitted against one another in order to see who can feed first.

Let out of the gates like a trio of race horses, Brandon, Christian, and Ayden give it a go, racing across the hallway towards their destination – three baby bottles, an enticing prize.

The race video even features racing-esque horn-based music, adding a nice little touch to the competition. It’s somewhat reminiscent of the “Trumpet Fanfare,” a staple at some events.

Soon after the metaphorical starting guns are shot, Brandon takes a quick lead ahead of his two brothers – a lead he doesn’t lose. The path is straight and open, aside for some fold-up chairs lining the side of the track. The speedster Brandon continues his path down the hall uninterrupted.

Things heat up a little with Brandon keeping his record pace, staying strongly ahead of his identical brothers. At one point, Christian becomes distracted, picking up a loose piece of paper – what looks to be a clothing price tag – and putting it in his mouth. At this point, he’s built a strong lead over Ayden, so perhaps he has deemed it okay to relax.

In fact, all of the brothers put something in their mouths over the course of the competition, indicating some kind of shared oral fixation, whether it’s fingers or paper. Within the few remaining moments, Brandon proceeds to the end of the short track, dusting his brothers along the way.

To be fair, he’s clearly the only member that took the race seriously, only stopping to suck his fingers after completing the event, unlike his identical brothers.

The rest of the race gets a little tricky. Christian maintains a strong lead on Ayden, but distractions hurt his time. Ayden starts closing some of the distance on the final leg of the race, but at the last minute, Christian proves too quick for his brother. As a celebration, he stuffs the paper price tag back into his mouth.

Eventually, all three of them make it to the end of the carpet-covered track. Although it isn’t the cleanest affair, riddled with distractions along the way, they accept their bottles graciously.

These babies can move, especially Brandon. But perhaps the biggest decider is not speed, but the ability to avoid distraction. I think more trials are needed to create a larger sample size – one race might not be enough to determine the fastest baby of the three. Fortunately, there’s an identical prize for each of the contestants. I wonder who will win the next event?
