In Queensland, a staffie owner decided to take matters into her own hands.

Enter Tubs, a charming blue Staffordshire bull terrier, who loves nothing more than hanging out and meeting new people. She would often prop herself against the fence, eagerly observing passersby. The videos posted by her owners reveal the sheer excitement radiating from Tubs as her tail wags and sways faster than a windshield wiper in a storm. Tubs is simply overjoyed at the prospect of meeting new acquaintances, and her owner ensures she gets that opportunity.

Adjacent to their gate, a sign adorned with vibrant letters proudly states, “Tubs is friendly. She would love a gentle pat.”

Tubs’ owners understand that anyone would be tempted to shower affection on such an adorable and gentle companion.

Through a series of TikTok videos, Tubs encounters various individuals.

First, a boy on a bike stops by solely to shower the staffie with well-deserved love. Subsequently, a pair of friends passes by, pausing to give Tubs their undivided attention. The boy on the bike returns with his friends, showcasing how dogs, even those of notorious breeds, can be incredible friends.

Thanks to the sign, people are more inclined to give staffies a chance.

“Darn, I would hang around for quite a while if I happened to pass by Tubs. Too wholesome!” exclaimed one commenter, concluding their sentiment with heart-eye and hug emojis.

“I would literally start living in front of your fence just to pet her all day,” expressed another commenter, echoing the thoughts of many others who desired more than a mere pat for Tubs.

“I’m about to book a flight to Australia just so I can walk by the fence and pet Tubs,” playfully confessed another enthusiast. Tubs has now become an ambassador for her breed, garnering over a million followers across her TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook pages.

With Tubs’ growing social media presence and the heartwarming videos she stars in, there is hope that people will begin to realize that these dogs are not as violent as commonly believed.
