Owner asks “Who’s a good boy?” – and tuxedo cat responds just like a dog

Cats are misunderstood creatures, especially because of their character that seems to be completely different from that of their canine counterparts.
While dogs are always available for cuddles and snuggles, while they respond to their owners’ calls every single time with a tail wag or a paw extending to the owner’s arm looking for a rub on the head or the belly, cats are nothing like that.

Felines are their own special kind of cool: they’re aloof and lost in their thoughts- let’s be honest, probably plotting against their humans and humanity as a whole.
Not only don’t cats respond when you call their names, but they often ignore you until you get tired and then come to you to ask for petting.
That’s right, cats are the Virgos of animals!

So, given the above, people usually answer dogs are their favorite animals, and that’s because they have more control over them than cats.
However, there are some cats that totally bust the myth of the aloof feline, and give you the impression they’re really dogs dressed up as cats.
Like Kodi, the needy cat. Kodi became famous in 2014, when his owner Rob Moore of Muscle and Mat, uploaded a video calling him “the neediest cat in the world”.

In that particular video, Kodi didn’t let his hooman go- he would always extend his paw and ask for cuddles, or he’d follow him around in hopes of getting some belly rubs.
And then, the video that made Kodi viral came in 2017, which in fact confirmed that he can’t be a real cat. He’s either a broken cat or a dog in the shape of a cat. In the video below, Kodi responds to the all-time-classic doggie question: “Who’s a good boy?”

Of course, nobody would expect a cat to react just like a dog would to that question. Normally, cats ignore their owners when they do this kind of baby talk or try to approach them in a similar way. But not Kodi.
Kodi is actually a “good boi”!
As you can see in the video, which is a compilation of instances Rob has asked Kodi “who’s a good boy”, the cat is always ready to offer a paw, flop for belly rubs, or come closer to have his head patted.

The video went viral in no time. It has since been viewed by more than 300k YouTube users and liked by thousands.
People commented about how special the cat is and how unexpected his reaction was, while they also joked about what the cat really intends by his extended paws.
“Silly human, HE’S POINTING AT YOU!! YOU’RE the ‘goo-boi,'” someone wrote, while someone else commented: “What if he thinks that his name is: Who is a good boy?”

Well, whatever the case is, this cat is really cute and his unique reactions make everyone agree on how adorable he is.
Kodi, along with his bestie, Shorty, a black cat, has his own online shop and merch, which you can find here.
The cats also have an Instagram account, where we can see them try to interrupt their hooman’s workouts.
