Twins have sweetest reaction when daddy gets home from work

We all understand what it is like to miss someone dearly. Whether it’s a significant other or a friend, we are all happy to be greeted by a friendly face after a stretch of traveling. Knowing that might make this video even cuter! These two twins are enjoying their day when they see their dad walk in the front door…and they couldn’t be happier!

Anabel and Lydia are as cute as can be.

Twins means double the cuteness, right? These two little girls are playing on their living room floor when they hear a noise coming from the door. Their faces are priceless as they try to understand the sounds and noises that are happening! Babies are really cute to watch as they perceive and interact with the world around them.

With scrunched up faces, these two are in for a surprise when the door opens!

With mom recording their reaction, these two little ones stare at the noise coming from the door with some serious confusion on their faces! Suddenly, we hear the door open and a familiar voice say “hi” from the hallway. The reaction is almost instant.

With their dad walking in the room, the twins immediately respond!

These twin girls may just have cast their votes for favorite parent! They both break into HUGE, gummy, smiles that go up to their eyes. They are so excited to hear from their dad! Waving their hands and nodding their heads in typical baby fashion, these two might just be daddy’s girls.

Babies have the ability to recognize voices and faces!

Basically acting as human sponges, babies and children are always absorbing the world around them (in often funny ways). There is evidence that shows that there is not an innate understanding of objects for infants and can’t comprehend them until much later. There is, however, an inherent ability for them to look at face-like patterns before actually viewing a face!

“Infants are able to recognize familiar faces despite variations in expression and perspective. They also can discriminate gender in faces. Most infants show preferences for females; however, infants who are handled primarily by males express preference for male faces.”

Showing their love for their parents is something that these twins seem born to do.

With some encouragement from their mom, these two are very happy to hear “daddy’s home” from their mom. Being recorded in 2010, these two are a little more grown-up now! Double digits come quickly for parents! Their mom is still documenting some great moments as the two grow up together.

They even have a fondness for music!

Older now, the two girls love to make music, which makes sense because their dad is a musician. It really does seem like these two might have grown up to be daddy’s girls like they were when they were little!
