The world of twins is so full of curious wonders that only they, twins, can fully understand each other. Sure we have science but to actually know and experience what it’s like is totally different.

Like for instance, what would happen if a set of identical twins fell in love with another set of identical twins, and both couples had babies?

Brittany and Briana, both 35 years of age, decided to attend the Twins Days Festival back in 2017 in Twinsburg, Ohio. Pretty sure the organizers chose that place for a reason. Or two.

The sisters walked around, soaking in the experience all while having fun, until they saw Josh and Jeremy Salyers, 37 year old brothers, at the festival. A truly handsome pair.

Introductions were made, messages exchanged, which led to eventual flirting, and soon, Josh fell in love with Brittany.

Oh and Jeremy fell for Briana.

And underneath all of that is a friendship established. They actually enjoy a lot of the same hobbies.

It only took the guys a year. The Salyer boys soon proposed to the twin sisters, with a double wedding (of course!) that took place on August 5, 2018.

The newly married couples then decided to live in Virginia. Together, in one home.

It’s a truly interesting setup so the identical couples put up an Instagram account. They wear the same clothes too making it hard for other peple to tell them apart. Typical behavior from twins!

Imagine how much fun they have!

Two years later, both girls announced they were pregnant.

“We are thrilled and grateful to experience overlapping pregnancies and to share this news with you all,” they posted on their Instagram account salyerstwins.

The odds were in their favor.

Two pairs of twins meeting and falling in love at an event for twins, tying the knots with a double wedding, living in the same home, and then, conceiving just three months apart.

“Our children will not only be cousins, but full genetic siblings and quaternary multiples! Can’t wait to meet them and for them to meet each other,” they added in their post.

It’s a really rare event because the two babies are not just be cousins but also quaternary twins.

Here’s how that works.

Quaternary twins are babies born less than nine months apart, by two sets of identical twins. Like the twin brothers who married twin sisters. The babies are not from the same womb but are considered siblings thanks to their identical parents.

Fans and followers of both couples were more than happy for the parents who announced they were having boys!

And surprise, surprise, both baby boys looked identical!

Identical baby boys born from identical parents had Instagram followers liking photos of the boys who also wore identical clothing.

So much fun for these identical families! There are so many perks to having a twin too. If only we non-twins could understand.

“We love all of us living together and having babies that are so close to age,” one of the girls said to Inside Edition.

As to which sister said it, take a guess.
