Woman can't figure out why people keep staring at her dog until see sees what's in her mouth
I think most of you would agree if I’d say that most dogs have the knack for picking up random things that they see almost anywhere, right? They simply couldn’t help themselves from being too nosy or curious about something that is new to their eyes and this trait of theirs makes them even more adorable.
Actually, there are a lot of factors that explain why dogs love to pick up things. One of the most popular reasons for this behavior is that they think it’s a good present for their humans. Some of the other reasons may also be teething, anxiety, and an inviting smell. It could also be that they’re used to being rewarded by their owners for bringing them something.
Dogs are simply adorable creatures and that’s why the internet loves them!
Just recently, a TikTok user who goes by the name ‘Peggy’ shared a funny experience while she was with one of her dogs named Minnie.
One day, she decided to bring her dog out for a walk. They were casually walking when she eventually noticed that Minnie was getting a lot of glances from people. She even saw some of them whispering and deliberately pointing in their direction. These things had her puzzled and as they continue their walk, the bewildered dog owner was clueless about what was going on.
That’s until Minnie looked back at her… she finally figured out all those glances from the people they walked past.
There’s a pacifier in Minnie’s mouth!
Where the dog got the pacifier was still everyone’s guess, however, Peggy was simply relieved after discovering the real reason behind all the strange reactions from people. As it turned out, Minnie was just having the time of her life, an outdoor walk with a pacifier in her mouth – because, why not?
We are just hoping that there was no baby out there somewhere crying and looking for their pacifier. A lot of people online were thinking the same way too, here are some of their comments:
“I like to imagine she just stole it from a random baby when you weren’t looking lol.”
“And ther is a kid somewhere wondering what happened to his/her binkie!”
“I’m inagining that you look away and your dog jumps up to a baby and steals it’s pacifier.”
However, some people find the pacifier a good idea in preventing their doggos from eating random stuff that they see on the ground. Some also wrote that the pacifier is something that can keep their jaws tight and help them maintain a calm demeanor especially when they’re outside.
“my boy did this for months when he was a puppy i did it for training so he wouldnt eat random things off the ground. everybody loved it”
“this is actually good if he was taken from his mom too early cause it immatate the feeling of nursing but it can also just be a comfort for them”
“Canines actually like to keep their jaw tight, so this could actually be comforting for the dog.”
