Sprucing up your home doesn’t always have to be expensive. You don’t even need to be an expert handyman just to make a new piece of furniture.

With a bit of creativity and some cheap materials, you can easily make fancy changes at home without burning holes in your wallet. Just take a look at pallets and the following DIY projects people were able to make from them.

1. A cat house

If you’re a cat mom, this project should be on top of your list. And trust us, your cats will be extra happy if you do. As you can see, the cat in the photo looks like she’s in having the best nap of her life.

2. A shoe rack

Stop losing a shoe or two each time you’re home. Get a pallet and turn it into a nice shoe rack. If you want to make it look fancy, you can always paint it with a color that matches the interior of your home.

3. A potting bench

Stop spending lots of money on something that will always get dirty. Instead, get a pallet and do your own potting bench. Your yard and even your back will thank you for it.

4. A bar

It’s always nice to have an outdoor bar. Why? Well, you’ll never know when your buddies will come over for a drink. With this, you can easily offer a bottle and impress them at the same time!

The previous design is excellent if you’re new to making DIY projects. However, if you feel confident that you can take on more complicated design, try this one.

6. An outdoor bench

Make your outdoor space extra nice with this outdoor pallet bench. It looks just as expensive as the ones you can see in your local shop.

Goats love to jump around. Having this playhouse in their area can easily make them feel excited. For sure, they’ll jump on it the minute they see it.

This one was made from scratch, including the cushions. At first glance, you wouldn’t think that it’s a DIY project.

9. A kid’s bed

This one’s quite nice. It’s sturdy and has lots of space for storing toys and books. It’s a convenient bed to have in your kids’ room.

10. For the adults

Pallets aren’t just great in making kids’ beds. They work well for adults too. This one, for example, adds a nice touch to the overall theme of the bedroom.

11. A wall

Do you have a plain and boring wall at home? Turn it into something eye-catching with this pallet wall.

12. A headboard

Want something different for your bedroom? This headboard makes a nice accent to a boring wall. With a built-in dimmer, it’s quite unique too.

13. A wine set

This one’s quite creative. Apart from saving space and keeping all your wine bottles in one place, it also serves as an accent piece. Install it in your kitchen or even your outdoor living space and you can easily impress your family and friends.

14. A wall garden

If you don’t have a lot of space at home for your plants, you can do this DIY project. You won’t believe how easy it is to make.

15. A Christmas tree

If you’re not a fan of having a real Christmas tree at home, this one makes an excellent alternative. It’s easier to set up. Plus, you won’t have to deal with a lot of mess when you have to clean it up.

16. A wishing well

If you’re feeling a bit creative, you can try adding this to your yard or garden. You can make it as big or as small as you want. And the best part? You can paint it with any color you want!

17. A garden chair

These chairs are made from old pallets and some scraps. If you like spending lots of time in your yard, you should start looking for the required materials already. Make your outdoor living space your next favorite spot to hang out.

18. A pallet couch and table

If chairs aren’t enough, you can make your own couch and table. These pieces of outdoor furniture can make hanging outside so much better.

19. Another headboard

This design is classier and deeper. The lights complete the entire look of the room.

Change things at home and make your kids feel excited about this teepee house. It’s a bit different from their usual dollhouse but it’s super fun to play with.
