We have all seen some strange and crazy things in our lives. It’s often these odd events that make us laugh or cause us to look at the world differently! For one woman, watching her very own Dr. Doolittle procession was one of those moments.

Dilara Ilter was staying at her parent’s house in Istanbul, Turkey when she noticed something strange going on outside.

Sitting in her apartment, she started hearing weird noises coming from outside. Listening closer, she realized that the noises were coming from animals! Walking over to the window, she was soon shocked.

In the distance, Dilara saw a woman walking a procession of hundreds of animals down the street!

In truly odd fashion, Dilara had stumbled upon a woman who was leading dogs, cats, and birds down a city street in parade style. Even more than that, they were all loyally following in line like they were perfectly trained!

She decided to ask her parents if they knew anything about the woman.

Hoping to get some more information, Dilara asked around. While nobody really knew much, it was certain that this woman wasn’t from Turkey! Every other day, without fail, the woman would lead the parade through the streets.

If she didn’t record some of it, people might think she was crazy!

Using her phone, she was able to get some decent footage of the strange moment happening every other day. When she posted it on Twitter, it went viral quickly.

The stats don’t lie!

When Dilara posted it to Twitter, she never expected people to be as interested as she was! She currently has over 1.4 million views, 15,000 likes, and 3,200 retweets! Everyone who is commenting seems to really love the pics!

When Dilara decided to stay with her parents again, sometime later, she looked to see if the woman was still walking the animals.

Of course she was! The mystery woman not only walked her animals this time, but she also fed them! Dilara got some new footage where she was able to capture the woman feeding her friends as she walked with them.

Even now, the woman is a mystery.

Since the woman doesn’t speak much Turkish, most of the attempts to talk with her haven’t worked out all that well. The funny part is that she probably has no idea that she is fast becoming a viral sensation for people worldwide.

The woman seems to be in the right city. Istanbul loves to help animals in need.

We don’t know the details of the parade of animals, but we can be confident that the woman helps them out of her own kindness. For someone who loves animals so much, Istanbul is a great place to live!

In April 2020, the Turkish government even decided to bolster it’s animal welfare programs in the wake of the coronavirus.

The country counseled its citizens to bring food and water to local parks, gardens, and shelters to better care for the animals that are in the most need.
