Wild deer approaches woman and lays beside her to communicate that she needs help

As human beings we have the greater capacity to help animals in need.

We are created higher than animals which is why, like it or not, animals have the ability to send a message to us especially when they need our help.

How animals communicate with humans.

According to Wonderopolis, animals can communicate through sounds.

But this is not the only way they communicate with other animals and to us humans. They can also send messages in nonverbal communication.

For instance, the dog’s wagging tail can tell us different messages.

Here are interesting examples of different non-verbal communications between different animals:

  • A dolphin is using its tail to get attention.
  • Bees dance to inform other bees that they’ve found nectar.
  • And deer for example flick their tails to give a warning to those who follow them that there is possible danger.

And in the video, we can say that the deer named Eva used her ability to communicate to ask for help.

Meet Eva.

Eva is familiar with the home of her human friends, Marlis and Rasa.

She always passes through the home of the couple during migrating.

Eva and her family love to eat grass and flowers.

They love staying and resting in the yard of Marlis and Rasa.

But something on this particular day was not right.

The couple is familiar as well with Eva which is why when they saw Eva lying in the yard.

They knew something was not right.

Marlis decided to check Eva and found that there are two scrapes on her back.

Marlis touched the deer and this gesture calms Eva. And like a child who is asking for help.

And Marlis decided to get her balm to put into her wounds of Eva.

When Marlis applied the balm, Eva looked comforted.

Don’t worry the rescue balm was natural and is made of flowers. It is surely safe for animals.

Of course, this cream does not guarantee fast recovery but it will give relief and avoid infections.

And what is the reward of Marlis? Yes, a foot massage!

How wonderful this bonding between a human and an animal, right?

But the most amazing thing about this bonding is their understanding that they need each other no matter what.

Big Game Research and Protection

According to National Fish and Wildlife Foundation, millions of elk, mule deer and pronghorn undertake some of the world’s most spectacular wildlife migrations every year.

They are moving between winter and summer ranges throughout the American West.

And to avoid danger for these fragile creatures and to support their mission twice a year to migrate smoothly, in 2019, the NFWF and The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, the Bureau of Land Management, and ConocoPhillips will collaborate to create a new program to assist these big-game species.

Our responsibility as humans.

Even with the modernization of the world through technologies, we, humans should always prioritize the welfare of nature that gives life not only to these big-game species but also to us.

May we all protect our only home, Earth and its natural activities such as the “Big Game.”
