We’ve all heard a lot of people say that absence makes the heart grow fonder.

Time and time again, this proverb is proved when soulmates see each other after being apart for long periods of time.

Not being around your most favorite person in the world can be stressful, but also something that makes them even dearer to your heart because you miss them.

Imagine two lovers spending a year away from each other. What would be the most likely scenario when they finally meet?

The reunion would surely be filled with happy smiles, tears of joy, and lots of embraces because finally, the distance was crossed and they are together once more.

This scenario was what happened in front of everyone’s eyes when two incredible horses saw each other after a while of being apart.

Yes, just like humans, animals like horses are also capable of finding their own soulmates.

It may seem unbelievable but after seeing the video showing a couple of horses being happy to be together again, I have started to believe that animals do experience missing each other.

It all starts with a wild horse named Phoenix, who eventually was brought to a farm and trained.

This was all because of a woman who saw a picture of him jumping over a barricade.

His energy is insurmountable which is another reason why the woman decided to ultimately adopt him and bring him home to her place via a trailer.

The woman was entranced by the beauty of Phoenix and would look at more photos of him.

As she browsed through them, she noticed that there was always another horse accompanying him in the pictures.

The mare was evidently Phoenix’s best friend and soulmate.

The woman returned to the farm to see if she could meet the mare, but the horse was not in there anymore.

She also noticed that Phoenix needed a friend, so upon taking him home with her, she made sure he had company by bringing male horses who could be his pals.

Unfortunately, Phoenix was having a hard time mixing in with the other guys and would even appear aloof to them.

The woman saw this and felt the sadness in the horse’s eyes and demeanor. He was looking for a specific horse, and the woman knew who that was.

However, she could not find the mare and could only do so much as bring other guy friends for the magnificent horse.

That was until two years after she took Phoenix in.

She received a photo of a beautiful mare with white fur. She was elegant and enchanting, and a horse that definitely resembled one that she has been looking for since Phoenix came into her life.

She confirmed her identity when she pulled out the old photo of Phoenix and saw that the mare in the photo was the same mare.

The woman immediately decided to revisit the farm to get the mare.

She was successful in bringing her to her own farm and named her Ghost.

When the trailer door opened, Ghost neighed loudly and a few moments later, Phoenix could be seen galloping fast toward his soul mate. Wow!

Their reunion was moving and everyone who saw them was very happy to witness such an unforgettable moment.

They are always together nowadays, having fun as they enjoy each day on the farm running along with the wind.
