Why buy a wreath when you can make your own!? This Christmas wreath costs next to nothing and is super easy to make.

After Christmas trees, Christmas wreaths are the best way to make your home feel Christmassy. There are many different kinds of wreaths that you can buy, but have you considered making your own one?

A wire hanger and a couple of boxes of baubles are all you need to make a fantastic looking wreath.

You probably have plenty of both lying around the home, so why not make this!?

To put the wreath together, you have to begin by untwisting the hanger at the top. Then bend the wire into a circular shape, but keep the hook at the top.

Then get your baubles and start threading them into the wire. If you want to keep the baubles in place, then get some tape and secure the top of the baubles onto the wire.

Keep on adding baubles to the wire until it’s full.

At the end, give the wreath a shake and adjust the positions of the baubles until you’re happy with what you see and there are no visible gaps.

Lastly, twist the wire at the top of the hanger back together.

Now you have a wonderful and unique Christmas wreath. Of course, there are a few things you can add to this. For instance, a string of tinsel can be wrapped around the baubles. Or you could wrap a bow around it.

You can hang the wreath with the original hanger hook. Or if you want to hide the fact that it was ever a hanger, then you can cut it off and tie it to things with a ribbon.

And if you want to make a centerpiece, then just follow this exact same process and place the finished wreath in the middle of the table, and put something Christmassy in the center of it.

There are so many different types of wreath that you can make, that you might end up with more wreaths than you have places to hang them!
