Woman claps back at trolls who question why her fit husband is with someone her size

Plump women used to be the beauty standard back in the 19th century, but then things changed, and women who were on the heavier side were considered not as attractive.

This led to an anti-fat obsession that is still in a way present in modern society.

Although efforts are being made to make sure young people understand that physical appearance is not the most important thing and that being super thin is not a prerequisite to succeed in life, there are still those who will try everything in order to meet the current beauty standards.

And, guess what, these beauty standards are constantly changing and, women, who are most affected by them, find themselves in a trap.

They need to constantly change themselves in order to be liked and accepted.

Thankfully, this is not what everyone is about.

There are people who have been brought up setting other values as their top priorities when they decide who is worth their love and who is not.

And this should have nothing to do with their physical appearance.

People don’t have to be skinny, or have the perfect face shape, or the most gorgeous hair in order to be loved.

This is too shallow.

All that matters really is how they treat you. How much they care about you and how they make you feel.

And this is exactly what Alicia McCarvell told haters on TikTok, responding to mean comments that had to do with her and her husband’s appearance.

You see, Alicia is what some would call plump while her husband is the epitome of fit.

When she posts photos and videos with her husband, there’s always at least one troll that comments about how they don’t make sense together and tries to find out what they hide.

Maybe she’s rich? Maybe “fat women” are this man’s fetish, or maybe he’s gay?

Or, apparently, she was not fat when they first met?

Right, all of these comments have been actually written as a reaction to the couple’s photos.

But Alicia doesn’t mind. She knows her husband loves her just the way she is.

In fact, the two have been together since they were 16 and they have gone through a lot together.

It seems that Alicia’s hubby had many opportunities to break up with her, but he didn’t.

He went on loving her, even when she was not easy to love, as she shares.

This man must be mad about her, honestly.

And they do look perfect together, because no matter what we see on the screen, the most important part is what we cannot see.

It’s the spark in their eyes and the chemistry between them that keeps them together. It’s true love that makes their lives happy.

And we just can’t but admire a happy couple!
