Woman earns 12.7M views with dancing flash mob

“Life is so full of unpredictable beauty and strange surprises. Sometimes that beauty is too much for me to handle. Do you know that feeling? When something is just too beautiful? When someone says something or writes something or plays something that moves you to the point of tears, maybe even changes you.” ― Mark Oliver Everett

A wonderful surprise is about to happen at Quay Street in the beautiful city of Galway, Ireland.

Imagine yourself walking down a busy street where you seem to be racing with people and your destination is still unknown. Then all of a sudden, a piece of beautiful music starts playing and an equally beautiful lady in a cowboy boots walks up forward with a smile on her face and starts dancing.

Is it something that you expect to see on a regular day? Then peel your eyes open- because something bigger is about to unfold. Thankfully, everything was all caught on tape.

These boots are made for walking.

The lady in the video is Lisa McHugh, a pop Country, and Irish singer. According to Catalan Style:

“She was born in Glasgow, Scotland to Irish parents. Her father is from Castlederg in County Tyrone and her mother is from Falcarragh, County Donegal. In June 2010 she moved to Ireland, put together her band and toured. She has won “Female Vocalist of the Year” five times as well as “Outstanding Achievement on the World Stage” in 2012 when she appeared on the Grand Ole Opry. She also ran her own television show titled On the Road with Lisa.”

She walks straight in the middle of the busy street and starts clapping to the beat of the lively music.

With her overflowing confidence and natural charm, you’d feel that something BIG is about to happen.

After a few steps and continuous clapping mid-air, she welcomes the Struttin Stars from Co. Fermanagh. The Facebook page of Struttin Stars LDC says that:

“Struttin Stars LDC is a successful dance club based in Fermanagh. The club mainly focuses on styles of line dance and compete at many levels!”

Lisa leads the rest of them just like a leader of a band, and just seconds after, more and more amazing women of all ages gather up to join the street performance.

It’s quite a strong wake-up call to the seemingly sleepy crowd.

We now have a flash mob ladies and gentlemen!

For the purpose of entertainment, sharing positivity, talent, and good vibes, a flash mob is where a group of people from out of nowhere assembles to perform a huge act in front of an unsuspecting crowd.

A flash mob can happen anywhere and anytime. It could be in the middle of a busy street, inside the mall, airport, amusement parks, and many more places. The amount of time and energy to perfectly pull off such an act is unimaginable.

A break from a break.

They dance to the tune of her own “Hillbilly Girl,” Lisa leads the group of highly-skilled women to a rhythmic clap and steps that have eventually drawn a large crowd of onlookers.

Each step, hop, stomp, clap and turn that they take is filled with so much energy and of course, a beautiful smile. An inviting vibe that entices the crowd even more to stop with their businesses that day and watch for a while.

The ladies are one with the music, the crowd watches up close, and some of them are also recording the wonderful surprise. They probably didn’t expect to see such a surprise on the street during that day.

Their bodies are awakened because of the high energy dance.

They don’t mind giving them space to perform their street act. We all need something like this, something to remind us of the beauty of dancing and music, wouldn’t you agree?

She posted their flash mob video on YouTube back in 2014 and has already been viewed 12.7 million times since then.
