For some, this technology is quite invasive as there can be many people who don’t know the meaning of privacy. People can take photos of anyone and any place even without consent.

While there are advantages, there are also great disadvantages that this technology has given us. Being able to take photos can help us spread information; capture beautiful moments, to being able to share amazing photos such as this one.

A woman named Sarah Hodges was in the right place at just the right time. On February 11, around 9:30 pm, Storm Ciara temporarily seized its anger that brought strong winds and rains.

During this time, the 48-year old woman looked out and was shocked to see a very rare sight. For a moment, in perfect timing, the clouds moved away and the beautiful full moon was seen.

The shape of the parted clouds, the full moon and even the shadows around it made it look like a literal “eye of the storm.”

It was eerie, fascinating, and beautiful all at the same time. It looked like it was staring back at Sarah. That moment, she knew she had to take photos.

“I took the pictures last Tuesday 11 Feb 2020, between 9.34 pm and 9.39 pm, just from my bedroom window at my home address. I am obsessed with the moon, sunset, sunrise, and the sea. I just used my Samsung S9,” Sarah shared in one of her interviews.

Her phone was able to capture the “moment” and it was just perfect. It was beautiful!

“I know I got lucky, people spend thousands on cameras to get the perfect shot. I feel overwhelmed and proud, as it’s a once in a lifetime shot… which I do understand,” she added.

Sarah wasn’t a professional photographer nor does she have the latest or the best equipment to take photos but she was there and this magnificent sight was waiting to be captured.

According to her, she didn’t even use any shutter; it was just her plain mobile phone shot, but it did the job quite well.

She shared her photos on her personal Facebook page but she didn’t expect for it to go viral. It has more than 2k likes and more than 35k shares. People fell in love with the beauty of the shots.
