Woman steps out center stage with Newfie and breaks internet with incredible routine

Many of us have performed what we would consider dance routines with our dogs. These tend to take place in kitchens, backyard parties, or wherever we are when our favorite song comes on the radio.

In general, however, such dancing usually involves a human bouncing around with no rhythm whatsoever and a dog simply jumping and barking.

At the Eurasia Dog Show in Moscow, however, a much more sophisticated human/canine dance routine took place.

The dog dance routines held there are truly a sight to behold.

Dog dance routines take agility, ability, and good training.

At competitions such as this, human trainers and their dogs must be in perfect sync with one another. The dog must completely trust their human in order to pull this off.

The person not only must have done an excellent job training their dog but they also must be an excellent dancer themselves.

Giant Newfoundland struts their stuff at the Eurasia Dog Show.

Thousands of people gather live to watch this competition. Even more will watch it online or on television. Only the best of the best are invited to take part.

One woman who took part in the competition turned heads and broke the internet with her amazing dance routine.

Her partner was a giant, fluffy, Newfoundland with a big bow wrapped around its neck.

The highlight of this dog show is the musical freestyle competition.

This is where a trainer will perform a dance routine with their dogs.

It was in this part of the competition that the woman and her Newfoundland really impressed everyone.

Hours of practice came down to one performance, one window of time to show what they can do, and they delivered.

The video begins with the Newfie laying on the floor until the music starts.

The woman’s hands start moving robotically but appear to be somehow controlling her dog’s movements.

The two then began moving back in forth in sync and a murmur can be heard in the crowd, this routine was something special.

The dog’s eyes are transfixed on its trainer and their moves are in perfect sync. This is truly a magnificent performance!

Newfoundland dogs aren’t known to be able to perform tricks very easily.

They tend to just want to do their own thing. Perhaps this particular dog just loves to dance!

Can I train my Newfoundland to dance?

Unless you started training your Newfoundland from a very early age, you probably aren’t going to be able to train them to dance like this.

These dogs are incredibly good-natured and loving, but not the easiest pushovers when it comes to performing tricks.

Chances are the dance routines you have with your Newfoundland will be considerably less rhythmic than what you see at the Eurasia Dog Show, but the most important part is having fun.
