Woman takes rock-and-roll to another level with her stunningly slick dance moves
There’s nothing like music to liven things up and to make you feel good all over. Whether you’re the one playing music and dancing or watching, music can be electrifying. Just look at this woman’s moves.
It really doesn’t matter what type of music you’re into, it’s just important to keep the music going. She keeps it going big time at this swing dance festival. What may surprise you is the song that she’s dancing to.
It’s none other than “Old Time Rock n’Roll”. She comes out on the dance floor wearing white socks and a white pajama set. The clothing resembles Tom Cruise’s iconic look in the movie “Risky Business”.
While we love watching Tom Cruise in the movie dancing in his white socks and shirt, this woman’s moves are truly epic. There are plenty of high-leg kicks and quick footwork. Just watching her will make you tired. Luckily, she has enough energy for everyone.
Her moves are electrifying and the jazz band she has playing for her doesn’t miss a beat. They do a fabulous rendition of the song.
One of the big moves that really gets the crowds going is her moonwalk across the stage. Talk about epic!
The funny thing is that she makes these moves look easy. Any trained dancer knows that’s not the case.
These routines take hours to develop and even longer to practice. It’s only when you practice to the max that the results look like this. Don’t you agree?

Classically trained dancers actually used to look down upon swing dancing. That was until swing started taking over the dance club scene during the ‘40s and ‘50s. It was during this time that swing became known as a social style of dance.
Fast forward a few decades and swing dancing became a competitive form of dance, even getting its own festivals.
This woman could definitely attract new swing lovers. Her smile is electric and you can tell that she’s really enjoying what she’s doing. Her love for the arts and music is extremely noticeable.
Thank goodness that people’s perception of swing has changed. If it hadn’t, we would have never gotten to enjoy this woman’s dance and fun swing festivals like this!
