Women sees a cloud shaped just like her dog right after the dog passes away
Lucy Ledgeway is 19 years old but for 14 of those years, she was lucky enough to have her dog Sunny by her side.

Her family got the Parson Russell Terrier when Ledgeway was just 6 (the dog was 1).
Sunny’s death didn’t come as a total shock to the family from York, England. She had a lot of health issues – and when she was diagnosed with diabetes last year they were told she only had 12-15 months to live.

Of course, that doesn’t make saying goodbye any easier.
But Sunny began to deteriorate back in June and a few days before she passed away she was having trouble going to the bathroom and was throwing up. They had the difficult discussion about having her euthanized to end her suffering, but she managed to perk up greatly the following day.
โShe was in bed up until around 2 p.m., and then my brother got a bag of crisps out and started eating and she started sniffing up,โ Ledgeway told TODAY. โIt gave us a bit of hope, like, โOh, so sheโll be all right.โโ

That day was one last gift – it was the last one Sunny would spend with her family.
She died after having a seizure the following morning on her way to the vet. But she passed away in the arms of Ledgeway’s father.
Later that day, Ledgeway and her boyfriend took a drive and she had a good cry. She said she just wanted some sign that the dog was in a better place.
Her boyfriend took her out for a drive with Miss Ledgeway sitting in the same seat where Sunny had died.
As they were passing Clifton Ings, a place where Sunny used to go for walks, both Ledgeway and her boyfriend saw it.
There was “Sunny,” up in the clouds.
“When I saw her face I laughed to myself, ‘that’s my girl,’ knowing it was her letting us all know she’s OK,” she told the BBC.
Her boyfriend saw it as well.
She immediately snapped a photo of the cloud formation that she said looked just like her deceased dog. Then she sent it to her mom and dad before uploading it to Twitter, where it went viral.

Her Tweet has now been “liked” over 100,000 times and while some are skeptical of the photo, she knows what she saw.
โIโm grateful that Iโve seen that with my own eyes,” she told TODAY, “and I know that itโs not fake.”
