Oftentimes, a person’s real attitude shows when nobody is watching.

A dog is a man’s best friend and they are undoubtedly one of the best animal companions ever! These wonderful creatures want nothing but our love and attention. Truth be told, a person’s attitude toward a dog is sometimes a reflection of who he/she truly is not just as a human but also as a parent (if he/she isn’t yet). As we all know, having a pet is a huge responsibility and it will test someone’s character.

That’s why when this woman named Erica June Cordero, who also goes by the name ‘bricksmom’ on TikTok shared a video of her boyfriend and her dog named Brick while playing outside, everyone on the world wide web reacted. As of this writing, the video has already racked up 4.8 million views with thousands of comments, some of which were people urging the woman to break up with her boyfriend.

All Brick wanted was to play fetch.

In the security cam video that’s just 9-second long, the poor dog was waiting for Erica’s boyfriend to throw his toy, however, the man just ignored him and called him a “d**k.” It was probably something that Erice wouldn’t expect from the apple of her eye.

People on the internet, especially dog owners, raged in anger because of the video and called out in unity asking the woman to dump her boyfriend.

“Red flag girl. RED FLAG !!!!!”

“If he ain’t like your dog you can find another man”

“Great huge red flag 🚩. He’s not a good man!”

“If your dog doesn’t like your bf then it’s time to change bf, they are never wrong!”

While some people had a different side of what truly happened.

According to some comments, it was the other way around; it was Brick who didn’t want to play with Erica’s boyfriend. The man was indeed holding the toy in the video, but the dog was too distant and looked like he wasn’t really in the mood to play.

“so nobody here got that he wanted to play with the dog and the dog didn’t wanna play 😂😂😂😂 he is not mean to the dog y’all”

“Lol nobody is asking tho how many times has homie thrown the rope and the dog didn’t fetch lol I’d be the same”

Erica, however, defended her boyfriend, in fact, tons of videos on her social media account also show how close her partner is to her dog.

Turns out, Erica’s boyfriend is now his ex because they just recently tied the knot in April of 2022. Goes to show that the 9-second clip doesn’t really show the true and amazing character of her husband, Corey Cordero.
