Mom loses son in Walmart and finds him kneeling on a bench in prayer because of sign on wall

Going shopping with your children can be exhausting, even worse, it can be terrifying. Youâre always hearing stories of kids going missing out of nowhere, so when you canât find your child, panic immediately sets in. Thatâs what happened to one mother at Walmart. When she couldnât find her son, initially, she was freaking out only to find her son on his knees in prayer at the front of the store.
Itâs who her son was praying for that has the internet buzzing!

Braydon, is a little boy, with a huge heart! A picture of him praying in Walmart, instantly went viral after his mom posted a picture to Facebook
It all started with a short, in & out trip to their local Walmart. Usually, Braydon was very good about staying with his mom when shopping, but this time something pulled him away.

When his mom looked back and couldnât find her young son, panic set in. She started searching the store in a frenzy, fearing the worst. After a short search, she found Brayden kneeling in front of the store in prayer.
The mothers first instinct was to scold her son, but when she saw who he was praying for tears welled up in her eyes
Above Braydonâs head was a sign, the sign read: âevery second counts.â It was a billboard for the lost children who go missing every day. Something about the sign made the little boy get on his knees and start to pray.

After snapping a photo, his mother didnât know what to do but cry and hug her son. Later, when she posted the picture to Facebook, people all over with missing loved ones were moved by the little manâs compassion.

âI had to run into Walmart. I turned around to make sure my son was next to me. Instead of finding him by my side I found him kneeling in front of the missing children board praying.â Read the motherâs Facebook post.
The post was quickly shared by hundreds of thousands, loved ones of missing people all over were touched by his gesture

After a popular Christian radio station in Tyler, Texas, shared the motherâs post it spread like wildfire and even left non-believers inspired by the little boyâs actions.

âI donât even believe in God or organized religion at all but THIS child is so beautiful to have such a huge and caring heart!!! Way to go mom for raising a sweet compassionate and loving little boy!â Said one Facebook user.
Heâs inspiring other compassionate kids to pray for these missing children

Another little boy who was inspired by Braydon went semi-viral for stopping by one of these signs to pray, maybe these two can start a trend! With so many missing and exploited children in the world, we need all the help we can get.
According to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, roughly 800,000 kids go missing per year in the United States alone. The NCMEC reports that there were over 1,300 attempted abductions in 2019, 68% of them involving a car abduction.

Those numbers are staggering, itâs up to us to stay vigilant and do anything we can to help these children. Braydon set a great example that we should all follow! To see more on this, watch the video below!
