Young couple bust out amazing high kicks in an energetic routine that earns them first place
You won’t be wasting your time watching this video. Sondre Olsen-Bye and Tanya Georgiievska are doing a Boogie Woogie routine that’s gotten first place once again. They have already taken home many championships and awards competing all over Europe and overseas.
This, in particular, was at the Boogie Woogie Main Class Nordic Championship in Helsingborg, Sweden.
Their genuine smiles and their love for dancing and performing is what stands out about these two. They’ve been dancing practically their whole lives!
Sondre was born in Norway and started dancing at five. Tanya, on the other hand, is from Kiev in Ukraine, and she started dancing when she was four. In 2015, they started dancing together, and have been teaching, competing, and performing all over the globe ever since. What a way to travel.
This Swing dance and Boogie Woogie couple always sets the dance floor on fire. Being an actual couple adds to their charm as a very popular team. They look very good together.
With their performance about to begin, Tanya jumps around smiling at the crowd. She knows she looks good, and she uses it to her advantage. How many men does Sondre have to chase away?
Maybe he doesn’t have to. With his devilish grin and handsome face, he looks great in his dancing suit!
They both pretend to play on an imaginary piano. Pressing those invisible keys along to the melody, crossing over each other’s arms trying to outdo each other. It’s all so cute.
Tanya puts her hands on her hips, lets her man get away with the piano playing. Instead, she goes for the drums! What a way to avoid an argument.
And with a snap, they hold hands and explode in a high-energy dance with stunning footwork. Their feet kick and step to the beat and the horns while flashing those lovely smiles for the crowd and the cameras. Well played!
Your eyes are not tricking you. They are not on fast forward. They are just amazingly quick on their feet.
Tanya even gives a sudden kick and Sondre dips and spins just in time to avoid her long leg. They obviously know when and where to flash us those smiles. They pause for a bit and have a “I can kick better” routine.
These guys don’t seem human at all. That’s not an easy backflip! And Sondre does one off of Tanya’s hands.
When Tanya jumps on to Sondre’s arms, he tilts her upside down, through his legs and back, and through his legs again, then she stands just to do a cartwheel. Everything was done without missing a single beat and still wearing those fantastic smiles. What showmanship!
“I love you! I love you just the same!”, goes Liam Green in his song “Beebop stylish”. The song suits these two and their moves. It’s no wonder why Sondre and Tanya keep winning. They’re definitely going to need a bigger trophy room.
