Baby elephants are adorably excited to play with their new puppy friend
When you are a kid, the whole world is a big adventure. There is just so much to explore!
Kids are always curious. Every day is a new day to have fun and learn new things. They meet other kids and it is fascinating how natural it is for them to blend in and befriend one another.
Sometimes, it only takes a few seconds and a few cute smiles for kids to become best friends. How cute, right? And this appears to be accurate, not only for human kiddos but for animals, too.
A pair of young elephants were filmed as they curiously interacts with a newcomer in their sanctuary.
This new face is not like them. It did not have a long trunk or big feet or huge, flappy ears. It did not even have the same size as theirs. What could this new creature be?
The two calves are visibly intrigued by the furry animal and they can’t seem to get enough of trying to be near the fellow. Will this small, hairy animal be friendly?
The elephants live in a place that is meant for elephants to live safely and freely.
The place is called Elephant Nature Park and it is found in Northern Thailand. Here, elephants are free to roam around and explore as much as they want. They interact with one another and are given their chance to just be comfortable and happy.
People from all over the world visit the place to see the elephants and interact with them as well. The magnificent animals are used to mingling with the human guests but aside from the elephants, the sanctuary is also a place of refuge for other animals such as cats, dogs, buffaloes, and a lot more.
There are dogs in the nature park and most adult elephants are used to them running around, but not these two young calves.
In the YouTube video uploaded by elephantnews, the two calves can be seen as they quietly studied the pup that visited their sanctuary. Their curiosity is quite obvious as their eyes follow the dog running around the park. While the adult elephants are not bothered by this, the young animals are definitely intrigued.
The dogs are getting closer to the elephants but the two calves are trying to move farther. However, their eyes remain glued to the doggos as they quickly move from one side of the park to another. These tiny animals are very energetic!
The dogs are very friendly and this made the calves feel better about interacting with them.
One of the elephants bravely stomps closer to the dog and he looks like he is now ready to make a new friend. A furry, canine friend, to be exact.
The dog was quite surprised at the majestic animal trying to get near him, and his reflex was to move away. But, he eventually saw that the calf is harmless, so he stayed and watched what the elephant will do next.
What an adorable sight! Are you curious about how this unique encounter unfolds?
