Who says that young people have no respect for the past? These two babyfaced musicians have covered a Patsy Cline classic in a way that people of all ages can enjoy.
What kind of music do young people like today? Thatâs right, they love nothing more than listening to hitmakers like Justin Beiber, Taylor Swift and Patsy Cline.

Ok, most people would never have guessed Patsy Cline, seeing as she passed away almost 60 years ago. But some young people really respect the musician, even all these years later, as this video proves.
Josh Turner is an aspiring young musician with a major respect for the musicians of yesteryear.

For years, heâs wanted to cover Patsy Clineâs country hit Crazy. But he realized that to do Cline justice, he needed to collaborate with a female musician.
While Turner was touring, he met Allison Young, another musician with a passion for the past.

He asked Young if she wanted to collaborate, and she said yes. Pretty soon, they were ready to record their performance of Crazy. Would it hold up to the Patsy Cline version?
The two singers opened by whistling. Turner also played the acoustic guitar. The whistling really suited the opening notes to the familiar song!

Then, when it was time for the Lyrics, Young opened with âCrazy, crazy for feeling so lonely.â Her voice could have come right out of the early 60s! If she had been around back then, itâs easy to believe that she would have been a huge star!
At the 2:10 mark, Turner started harmonizing with Young. His voice complimented hers perfectly. If you were just listening to the song without watching the video, youâd never imagine that two millennials were performing.

Their performance appears effortless, but a series of outtakes at the end of the video proved that it was anything but. They kept on slipping up. But both of them were clearly having a great time performing together.
Shortly after recording this video, Turner uploaded it to his YouTube Channel. It soon went viral.
To date, it has gained over 1.7 million views. It also has more than 50,000 likes and 3,800 comments. People have been saying things like this:

After the first performance went down so well, Turner and Young realized that they had to collaborate again.
So when their schedules were free, they reconvened to perform a cover of Fever by Peggy Lee.
Just like their Crazy cover, the music sounds like a vintage masterpiece.
Turner and Young also had amazing chemistry with one another. If they became a duo, they could really go far!
On this day, they were also able to cover Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrongâs Autumn in New York.
(Whatâs really great is that they recorded it in Brooklyn in September 2019, so it really was autumn in New York!)
So next time you hear someone whining about how young people today have no respect for the past, just play them Young and Turnerâs Crazy cover.
The complainer will surely be left stumped. Who knows, these two young musicians may be able to make a whole generation of people appreciate the music of yesteryear.
