Be thankful for what you have – you’ll end up having more
Gratitude is an attitude all of us need more of, especially in today’s society.
We have become a society and a world that’s filled so many disappointments, heartaches, violence, and unkindness. Having an attitude of gratitude can change that.
What exactly is gratitude?
According to Harvard Health Publishing, “gratitude is a thankful appreciation for what an individual receives, whether tangible or intangible. With gratitude, people acknowledge the goodness in their lives.”
Having a grateful attitude also helps people feel more positive, enjoy good experiences, improve their health, deal with adversity, and build stronger relationships.
And if we consciously practiced it every day, it’ll slowly become a habit. Before we know it, giving gratitude will just come naturally!
If more of us practiced being more grateful every day, we’d be living in a world that’s kinder, more compassionate, and more loving.
