It all started when this couple realized their bulldogs loved peeking their heads through the holes in their fence

Ranveig and Claus Levinsen live in Grasten, Denmark, with their sweet bulldogs’, Winston, and her son Bogart. When they noticed how much they loved watching the street through two holes in their fence, they figured why not make it fun for everyone? In an interview with Bored Panda the Levinsen’s said:

“We are living close to a walking path, so many people pass by every day, and the dogs are just so curious. To prevent them from skipping the fence, we made the holes, but even if it was funny to see them from the other side, I just thought it would look even funnier if we painted something,”

So the Levinsen’s had their daughter paint two costumes on the outside of the fence, one is a jester, and the other is a king

Seeing a chubby bulldog stick their big heads through a hole in the fence would already be funny enough, so when you add in the costumes it’s beyond hysterical.

Bogart is the only pup they kept out of a litter of 8, he was the smallest pup Winston gave birth to and they just knew there was something special about him. When talking to Bored Panda about Winston and Bogart, Ranvieg said:

“We decided that she should have puppies. She had 8, and we kept Bogart, he was the smallest and totally cute. He has a unique personality, and he is so funny, I really do love that little guy.”

After the video was uploaded to Facebook, millions of people watched it with 17k sharing it and thousands leaving comments

Loads of people couldn’t get enough of Winston, Bogart, and their funny costumes. The Levinson’s had no idea the random idea would blow up like this. It’s only been 3 weeks since the video was uploaded to Facebook and it’s already been viewed over 4.8 million times.

“I, myself, am blown away that my little dog has gone viral just because he looks goofy,” Ranvieg told Bored Panda.

Now that it’s spread like this, hopefully, they’ll make some more holes and paint other quirky costumes

This is the coolest thing I’ve seen in a while, I really hope they add to the costumes. Maybe they’ll make a whole cast of medieval costumes that will have us reeling with laughter.
