Random cat gets into woman’s garage and decides she lives there now

Cats can definitely have the tendency to end in places where they’re not supposed to be, and that’s definitely the case for this sneaky feline! One day, a four-footer seemingly decided to enter a woman’s garage without her knowing, but it actually turned out to become a beautiful friendship.

Charity Hendey was simply doing stuff in the kitchen when she thought she heard a very silent meow.

The woman doesn’t even have cats, but she figured that it must’ve been a kitten making some noise outside. After a quick glance out of the window, she just decided to resume her activities in the kitchen and get on with her day.

She didn’t hear any more meows and didn’t give it much further thought – until she stepped into her garage.

Charity was quite surprised to find a joyful cat in the garage, and it seemed like the feline was actually quite pleased to be there.

“I sat down and she ran up onto my lap and was so loving,” the woman told The Dodo.

The kind woman immediately dropped what she was going and decided to spend this time with this furry and friendly intruder. In fact, she spent no less than two hours playing around with the black and brown spotted cat and the feline didn’t want to go anywhere. She especially liked sitting in Charity’s car!

The woman also owns a boat in the garage, and it didn’t take very long until this sneaky cat managed to make her way up there as well.

After spending the better part of a day in the garage, the cat left the garage. However, she would be back very soon.

After just two days, this kitten was back for some more action. She managed to get stuck in the garage once again, but Charity had a feeling that this time, she definitely meant to be stuck in the building with her again.

“She loves to explore,” the woman explained. “Playing in the boat and using the carpet on the floor as a scratching post. She explored my car since my window was down.”

After all this playtime with this energetic kitten, Charity decided to try and figure out just where she came from.

She did some digging and asked around, and it actually turns out that that cat belonged to one of the neighbors.

Apparently, she does love exploring and isn’t scared to roam around the area, although she always comes back home. The adventurous side of this kitten simply can’t be contained, and it looks like she found herself a new favorite spot: Charity’s garage and company, of course.

When she found out, the woman was really relieved to find out that this four-footer actually had a home and wasn’t a stray in need of help or a forever home. However, she definitely expects her to make regular visits and she’s welcome anytime she wants in the garage.

After all, these two are basically best of friends now, and we’re certain that this four-footer needs a dose of exploring and cuddles from Charity once in a while.

“I’m sure she will be a frequent visitor since she knows she gets cuddles over here and she gets to explore more,” Charity concluded.
