Neighbors kept running over his fence so fed-up dad hatches revenge plan that wrecks 8 cars
There is nothing worse than a bad neighbor. Sure, you can run into rude people in the street or at a party, but when it is the person living next to you every day who is giving you a hard time, it can most certainly be rough.
This family was in the middle of a long dispute with one of their neighbors. The dispute took an unexpected turn when the father in the family finally decided to take action.
Someone took to Reddit to explain his story, which explained how his family’s neighbor ran over their fence with a truck filled with wood.
“We live in a small private neighborhood, the neighbors are related to us more or less (distant relatives),” he wrote. “Everybody here is a complete nutjob. They were constantly arguing over decades before me or my brother were even born.
“Our property line is kinda like a square and it is surrounded by road from two sides. Keep in mind that on one part of the road we let our neighbors use 1 square meter of the land so they could use the road safer and not damage our property.”
He went on to explain that the neighbors then drove their truck over their fence and refused to pay for the damage. So instead of standing by and letting that happen, he decided to fight back and stoop to their level.
The father, who is a police officer, dug up a property line marker and filled the disputed area with rock-filled barrels. After that, the neighbors were naturally very angry and came knocking on their door, threatening to attack them with a pickaxe. They also threatened to call the police. Fun!
But none of these threats saw the light of day. The family’s neighbors continued to drive over the fence for an entire year. The father of the family took it even further and formed a plan to teach the nutty neighbors a lesson.
“My dad was furious and he changed his petty revenge into an act of pro revenge. He cut some wood to use it as a mold. He bought cement, sand and metal poles. One peaceful afternoon my father and I cemented that whole part of the land and placed some lovely flowers on top. So when they hit the concrete they can smell our flowers of victory/defeat.”
At that point, the plan seemed to work… But it was not the end.
As the family sat back and enjoyed their serious revenge, their neighbors ruined eight of their cars trying to drive over the fence. But not once did they complain.
The family who got their revenge were also the only ones in the neighborhood who were in charge of maintaining the road next to their property. “They were constantly arguing that we don’t do a good job at maintaining the road. They would much rather criticize us than help us,” the family said of their crazy neighbors.
It’s cliché but it remains oh so true: treat others the way you would like to be treated. And definitely do not mess with this family!
