Ross Smith and his 93-year-old “Granny” have quite a unique hobby – and it’s one that’s garnered them 2.8 million Instagram followers, over 9.5 million Facebook followers, and an audience of tens of millions on YouTube!

On Facebook and YouTube the pair posts videos of pranks that they pull on the unsuspecting, their world-class heckling abilities, and hilarious interviews they do with random people on the street. But it’s Instagram where their creativity really shines through.

The duo is famous for their elaborate photoshoots in full costume – and they’re hilarious!

27-year-old Smith began involving his grandmother in his online presence about 6 years ago. He was already posting short videos to Vine when one that featured his grandmother making a basketball shot went viral.

That’s when the duo teamed up to do more online entertaining.

While there are plenty of photos of Granny by herself on Instagram, it’s the familial costume shots that really keep us entertained.

1. Straight outta the nursing home

When asked what they should call their new band, one commenter suggested: “Near Death Metal.”

But we think Granny has more like in her than most people half her age.

2. Cinco de Mayo

What better way to celebrate Cinco de Mayo than with margaritas and mustaches?

These two look pretty serious here, but we imagine they were all smiles after they finished off those drinks.

3. “Thug Pumpkin” and “Savage Scarecrow”

The duo celebrated Thanksgiving in 2018 with yet another turkey-gobbling pilgrim photo.

And somehow it never gets old!

We don’t know if they followed through, but they offered to send $100 to anyone who guessed the winner of the 2019 Superbowl.

To celebrate President’s Day 2019, Smith suggested that Granny run for office.

And just like that, people found their new favorite candidate.

13. The End(game) is near

We couldn’t help but laugh at this photo paying homage to the Avengers we lost in “Avengers: Endgame.”

It looks like Thanos is in a typically bad mood.

We’d put our money on Granny in gladiatorial combat any day.

15. Up up and away

A fan favorite, the duo dressed up as the characters from the movie “Up” last Halloween.

And they are beyond charming!
