Man spends over $5,000 building luxury home for his dog with fireplace and TV
Dog lovers say this over and over. Dogs aren’t just pets, but family members.
If you are someone who treats your dog more than just a mere four-legged animal, then that statement is absolutely true.
Many people spend a lot on their dogs. They give their dogs complete doses of vaccines, scrumptious meals, comfortable dog beds, regular vet visits, and much more.
They are willing to do everything to the best of their abilities just to give their pooches a happy and comfortable life. However, this man upscaled things a little further when he decided to give his dog the “special” treatment.
He built a new “home” that’s worth more than $5,000!

Isn’t that too pricey? Well, not for dog owner Jonathan Lower. He managed to pull off a project that gave his Golden Retriever, Teddy a place he can call his “own”.
Jonathan shared video clips of Teddy’s home on his TikTok account @thehomeprojectguy. Some of which have already gained hundreds of thousands to millions of views. People online are mesmerized by the beauty of the dog house and of course, by Teddy’s undeniable charm.
From a small space under the stairs to a luxurious dog house.
Following the thread of videos from Jonathan’s social media account. It appeared the space he used was just some enclosed space underneath the stairs. Starting from scratch, he eventually transformed it into a cozy place where Teddy can hang out.
The exterior design of the dog house was made of stone façade for the “wall” and some wood planks for the “roof”. There are also lanterns outside and a doormat that says “Teddy’s House.”
From the outside, it undeniably looks like a real house.
If you thought the exterior is already awesome, just wait until you see what’s inside.
Inside Teddy’s house are fully-furnished walls and ceilings. It also has a comfy bed with pull-outs at the bottom, some dim lights, an indoor plant (succulents, perhaps) a frame with his picture together with Jonathan, a “fireplace”, and a TV!

He’s also posted to YouTube showing the “Before” and “After” of each of the house’s parts.
During the entire process, Jonathan kept on posting video updates about the creation of the dog house. After all, people online were so ecstatic to know about it so might as well give them what they want.
And the final outcome couldn’t be any better than what they’ve expected.
Turns out, Jonathan is really into Home DIYs.
Looks like doing Teddy’s house is not too different from the previous projects he’s done before.
A lot of people online shared their thoughts about Teddy’s house.
Some of them even jokingly wrote in the comments section that they want to live in his house.
While others say this lucky dog’s house actually looks better than theirs. Of course, there are also people commending Jonathan for being such a hands-on doggy daddy.
