While brides and their mother-in-laws don’t always get along, sometimes their toxic relationship is beyond words. We’ve all heard of family drama, but a video on Twitter takes it to a whole new level. It just goes to show that we can’t along with everyone, even if they are family.

A little family drama

In a video, a bride is seen sharing her vows with her husband-to-be. Before anyone knows it, the groom’s mother is giving her two cents. The video is a perfect example of how toxic some people are. The whole dramatic episode starts after the bride tells the groom she loves all of his flaws.

A mother-in-law shows her flaws

It is then that you hear the mother-in-law in the background as she responds to what the bride has just said.

“You’re not going to say my son has flaws,” she says from her seat in the front row.

This is followed by awkward laughter from the gathered guests. This is followed by someone at the church telling the mother-in-law that she can leave.

“No! I don’t have to leave! This dress you’re wearing, we paid for it,” she retorts back.

A contentious relationship

And while it is never said what caused the animosity between the two in the first place, it is evident that there’s more to their relationship than meets the eyes. Too bad the mother-in-law couldn’t control herself, instead, ruining such a happy occasion.

Accepting her husband despite her flaws

The crowd tells the mother-in-law to calm down. For her part, the bride remains pretty cool throughout the whole dramatic scene. Obviously, she has dealt with this sort of thing before.

“You’re not going to ruin my day,” the bride tells the mother-in-law. “Everybody has flaws, and that’s why I love him.”

The mother-in-law has a catty remark to this, “Yeah, like you don’t have flaws.”

Finding happiness despite their horrible family

At this point, it seems the bride has had enough and she tells the mother-in-law to leave. Of course, the mother-in-law refuses and someone steps forward to tell her to get out. At this point, she angrily retorts, that she is not leaving and that she’ll have them arrested if they try to,

Fortunately, the husband and wife were able to get past this horrible incident and now have a baby. At least they were able to find happiness, unlike the mother-in-law, who seems so miserable with her own life that she has to try and ruin everyone else’s.
